Winter invites us to slow down, to listen, and to be held by the quiet beauty of the season. Just as the earth lies fallow, conserving energy beneath the surface, we too are called to pause, reflect, and nourish ourselves deeply.

This retreat is an invitation to honour the stillness of winter, while also making space for what stirs beneath. Through gentle movement, breath-led practices, seasonal rituals and time in nature, we’ll tend to the inner landscape with warmth and care. Softening what’s held, releasing what’s ready to go, and reconnecting with what truly sustains you.

A central part of the day is a guided breathwork journey, a powerful and activating experience that invites you into an altered, expanded state of awareness. While deeply supportive and safely held, this session often brings people into profound connection with themselves - beyond words, beyond thought - and can leave you feeling clear, energised, and beautifully open.

When we allow ourselves to go within and feel fully, we plant the seeds for the vitality that will rise in spring. Come and spend the day cocooned in comfort, guided by the wisdom of winter and by the deeper wisdom that lives within you.

    Please note these are individual retreat dates. You do not need to be available for, and book in for all three days (unless you’re want to of course :).

  • 10am ~ Opening Sacred Sharing Circle, with Cacao and Meditation. Here we come together as a collective and set our intentions from this heart opened, expansive state.  

    10.30am ~ Gain insight into the purpose and power of breakthrough breathwork as we explore the science behind it, the many benefits, and what to expect from the journey ahead.

    11am ~ Breakthrough Breathwork. In the rhythm of our breath lies the key to unlocking what’s been held deep within. This activating style of breathwork is designed to shift tension and stored emotion from the body - a powerful pathway to release, clarity, and expansion. As we surrender to its flow, we create space for what’s ready to rise to the surface, inviting in curiosity, insight, and profound inner awakening.

    1pm ~ Lunch. It’s time to replenish the body with a nutritious nourishing lunch made with fresh seasonal and ingredients which are locally sourced and organic where possible. 

    2pm ~ Contrast Therapy session. Now it’s time to meet yourself in the ice. There is nothing like a cold immersion to meet your mind where it’s at and we’ve found there’s nothing quite like this experience to bring you into pure present awareness. The combination of breath and cold immersion has been scientifically proven to reduce inflammation in the body, which is the root cause of many health issues, including auto immune diseases. This is followed by an infrared sauna session that detoxifies the body, along with numerous other benefits. And then if you’re feeling brave there is the opportunity to face the cold once again. We do this for the brown fat activation, which is the good fat that we need more of! This is what stokes our metabolism and helps to prevent diabetes and heart disease.

    3.30pm ~ Tea and snacks.

    3.45pm ~ Yoga session. We’ll begin with gentle vinyasa to awaken the body and stoke the inner fire, helping to shift stagnant energy and melt away any heaviness. From there, we soften into yin postures to nourish the deeper layers and restore the flow within. The session closes with a guided yoga nidra - inviting deep rest, nervous system reset, and the planting of your Sankalpa (intention) into the fertile soil of the subconscious. This practice is a full-body prayer - movement, stillness, and surrender - guiding you home to the wisdom within.

    5.15pm ~ Closing circle. As we bring the day to a close, we’ll gather in circle to ground, integrate, and honour the journey we’ve shared. This is a sacred moment to reflect, to be witnessed, and to gently seal the space. Carrying forward what you’ve received, and leaving behind anything that no longer serves.

    Please note that this itinerary is a guide to give you an indication of what to expect for the day and could potentially be moved around a bit. Timing can vary depending on how much people share in the beginning circle for example, but we will ensure the day has come to completion by 5.30pm so that those needing to get the 6pm ferry home can do so. We highly recommend extending your stay here and booking a night or two to really integrate the learnings from the day.

  • Cacao, Meditation, Breakthrough Breathwork Session, Guided Cold Immersion, Infrared Sauna, Vinyasa, Yin and Yoga Nidra. A healthy whole foods lunch and snacks will be provided.

  • Just bring a water bottle, journal and your beautiful self dressed in warm comfortable loose clothing to practice in, layers are suggested for this time of year. All yoga mats and props, plus towels for the sauna and ice bath, will be provided.

  • Why not fully immerse yourself in the Sandhana experience and add on a stay prior to, and/or, after the retreat, to fully rest, rejuvenate and receive. There is just one room left though so you'll need to book quickly to secure your spot. Just click on the link below to make an enquiry. Please note these rooms aren’t available to book through the normal online booking channel, to ensure that only people participating in the retreat experience will be staying at here over these dates, to maintain the cohesion of the group.

    The cost is $250 per night for the Turmeric and Forest rooms and $300 for the Midnight room which has its own ensuite, for single occupancy. It is an additional $100 for each room for double occupancy. This price includes dinner and breakfast, as well as use of the ice bath, sauna and hot tub during your stay.

Fire is the pure expression of summer, the season of radiance, heartfelt connections and passion. The warm embrace of the sun encourages nature to expand and grow, as it does us. Summer is the time to call upon agni, the yogic fire that resides within all of us, to start acting on our hearts deepest desires. It is the time to do and to create. This seasonal retreat has been tailored to cultivate this potent energy and to support you to create changes you’d like to see manifest in your life.

The earth element is the grounding, stabilising force during times of change. As the yang energy completes its expression and the yin flows in, it is the time to nourish the roots, the foundations of what has been built over the past season. This is a time for introspection and assessment of what is aligned and what we can let go of. This is a chance to be held and nurtured through this process.
